Social Security (Insurance Session)
Meeting will be held over the lunch hour with the presentation to end at 1:00pm.
The speaker at the event will be Amber Westbrook, Social Insurance Specialist, from the Social Security Administration. A copy of the presentation is included if you wish to print a copy of the slides for the event. Paper copies of the presentation will NOT be provided.
Amber began her career with the Social Security Administration in the Traverse City field office in March 2003. She has specialized in the processing of Retirement, Survivors and Disability Insurance program claims for the entire 11.5 years she has been with the agency. Later in her career she trained and began processing applications related to Supplemental Security Income. In 2008, she transferred to Benton Harbor when her husband took a position with Berrien County. Amber has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Management from Western Michigan University. She currently lives in Granger, IN with her husband, John, and two kids, Mason, 8 and Lauren, 5.
